Call a Tree Program


  • CBC will carry out “Call a Tree” Campaign during August-September-2015 in order to create cleaner and greener environment by facilitating general public to plant tree saplings in their vicinity by providing them trees free of cost.

  • Tree saplings of different fruit species will be available in this office on phone call at given numbers.

  • CBC will purchase 120,000 fruit trees for subsequent distribution among public. A tender notice has already been put forward for publication in this regard in Daily Jang dated 30-07-2015.

  • Revenue profile crossed a billion rupees mark in cash reserves.

  • Development outlay encompassed rehabilitation of major roads, streets, water supply networks, sewerage lines and parks with an unprecedented 1 billion portfolio.

  • Traffic management strengthened with installation of new street boards, lane markings and cat eyes across the Cantt.

  • Sanitation services extended to Phase-8 and beach cleaning machine imported from USA introduced for beach cleaning.

  • Beach rescue regime with 10 watch towers & 40 lifeguards deployed at sea view beach.

  • Bulk water bypass channel constructed at chakra infusing approx 1 MGD into the system.

  • Two new water connections from KW&SB further infused approx 0.5 MGD in water system.

  • Major expansions in CBC dispensaries at Phase-II and Punjab Colony carried out making them vibrant with latest hi-tech equipment’s and diagnostic machines.

  • Major projects of LED street lights and traffic management system conceived and designed of which traffic project recently approved by DG ML&C while other awaited.
